Protocols Configuration (Network Mode)

In the Protocols tab, you can select and configure the protocols that the agent will use to interact with target machines.

⚙️ General Configuration​

Watchman agent

Watchman Agent gives you the freedom to choose one or more of the following protocols for the scan:

  • 🌐 HTTP
Watchman agent
  • 🔐 SSH
Watchman agent
  • 🪟 WMI
Watchman agent
  • 📡 SNMP
Watchman agent

✅ These protocols will apply to all machines on the network, unless otherwise configured.

🎯 Specific Configuration​

To handle special cases, you can define protocols specific to certain IP addresses.
This is useful, for example, for a remote server accessible only via SSH.

🔽 Steps:​

  1. Go to the Specific tab
  2. Click on Add an IP
  3. A window opens: enter the IP address, then click Add
  4. Once added, the machine appears with the 4 available protocols
  5. Enable/configure only the protocols required for this IP

Once added, the address is displayed with the four protocols just like the general protocols, and you just need to configure the specific protocols for this machine identified by the IP address.
